Breaking into Contract Placements

Direct-hire (aka: "Perm") recruiters frequently shun contract and temporary placements in favor of contingency and retained search work. The barriers to contract placements seem tremendous, as there is a perceived lack of understanding, training, back office resources, or interest in the administrative work required.
